Side note, there are lots of new figures of Lillie and Cosmog coming out in the fall, that means you can throw out any "leak" that says that aspect of the story/character have changed such as the ones that say Gladion gets Cosmog instead, or the game takes place one year later, etc.

Also, as its been pointed out, The guidebook is releasing in November, and it has over 100 pages of new stuff,
We can assume some of it's going to be a National Dex, but for these books GF likes to keep tiny notes of each pokemon and sell the full details as their own books,
If they're following the same format as Sun and Moons guide, the full dex should only take up around 25-30 pages

That would be ideal, as it would mean 130 pages just on new stuff, they usually like to go more in depth into game mechanics in third version guides, but thats usually though lists and glossaries
Assuming they do that again, and even if they include the biggest regional dex yet, there's still a huge margin of space left in the book devoted to actual new content

"mystery" reveals have always been big stuff in the past
This time we have a couple of different ones, so I'm expecting atleast three new things
(Lycanroc might be two of them if it gets one new Sun form and one new Moon form)

Sorted the possible dates:

August 1st - likley because Sun/Moon had a trailer that same time

August 3rd - likely because the Anime might reveal something on that date,

August 8th - likely because the merch will be unveiled the next day, plus allows them to preempt Corocoro leaks
