It certainly is annoying as fuck and arguably unbeatable if played by someone who knows what they're doing. I had a game against the standard stall six yesterday and it carried on for 124 turns. Then again I was just trying to have fun with a monosteel team, so I have no right to complain if I got beaten by an actual strategy, as braindead and monotone as it is.

Not in Gen 7. There's a lot that can break stall nowadays. Why do you think they run Dugtrio as a generic answer to most stallbreakers? Dugtrio is actually great at ripping at stall apart too. Just run a big special attacker like Koko or Lele or Y and trap Chansey with Dugtrio.

Yeah I think Chansey is the problem. I agree because they only need Chansey to cover SpDef really and the rest can be concentrated on Def, meaning less holes in the team to exploit. At the same time, I think Blissey would have to be put on blast too if ever Chansey left, since it's a valid replacement, especially appealing since Blissey can run Shed Shell for Dugtrio. I had seen some Shed Shell Blissey stall teams in earlier Gen 7 OU prior to the suspect test for Dug, doesn't tank as hard as Chansey but still fulfills the special wall role as well.
