what is 5hours in ? The story pace sucks, but the story isn't the worst in the franchise so you should probably stick until the end and then decide. It picks up the pace later on

The story is pretty good, the main issue is that is heavily info dumped on the player with dialogues and cutscenes longer than they should be

Read a book then. I could care less if a game has a story as long as it has good gameplay. It would actually better if gen 8 had less of a story so they could focus on new features.
