What other world regions would you most like seeing as a pokemon region?

My vote would be the yucatan peninsula. it has a lot of animal diversity and cool locations like underwater caves, beaches, ancient towns and ruins

Not directly related but I'm still wondering why there's no version of Lyon, Marseille or the côte d'Azur in XY. I wonder how "accurate" Alola is compared to Hawaii. Anyway I don't care what they base gen 8's region on, as long as we get decent dungeons and puzzles. I like how they're basing the latest regions on completely different places though, that's cool.
