That's already where it is.
Having a fire-type immunity doesn't do much for it. The only thing it gains would be switching into to a fire-type move from a pure special attacker and then setting up a rock polish and hope it outspeeds whatever physical attack is about to come 1-shot it.

Not it's not. Flash fire is on mons which don't have a weakness to fire. Regice gets a lot more out of it, being a defense-oriented pokemon.

You are looking at it in black and white. Flash fire inherently means that a pokemon who is already fire-oriented gets a boost if it is fed more flames. Turning a weakness into an immunity is a bigger benefit. However Regice already has a ton of sp.def so in his case it's not the greatest thing.

Arcanine can melt through steel, that's already over 2500 degrees Fahrenheit. Basic logic should tell us that Entei's flame is hotter or at least in the same range as Arcanine's.
