I used to play this back in winter with my brother and it was really nice. He started getting discouraged because spoofers made all his efforts for good Pokemon and fighting gyms pointless since they'd just take it back in 2 seconds.
He began spoofing. Immediately stopped playing with me. Eventually got bored of the game. Says he ruined it for himself.

Gen2 came out and he showed mild interest but then began bitching about it again.

Like go to a Arcanine raid boss, don't see any water types auto-selected? That's because it has Wild Charge.

The auto-select is a balance of best attacks and least vulnerable, but as long as you can dodge charged attacks you should be fine.

It works exactly like the other raids. If you can't beat it you have two hours to come up with more people or better Pokémon. If you fail you will have to try on another gym with a separate pass. You either pay up front or use coins earned from defending gyms.
