Are you doing species clause for Moon? Last time I Nuzlocked gen 7 I realised how lacking in variety a lot of the routes were when I encountered A-Rattatta after A-Rattatta

Nah use what you're happy with but don't expect everyone to like the same Pokémon as you do and don't take rankings to heart. If you're using really common/popular team members expect to get a bit of shit.
I enjoy using every Pokémon I can for the challenge and also to experience each Pokémon once at least, since they are all in essence different and I think it's cool to see how "shitmons" work in a team dynamic.
Also there's no Pokémon I'd say I disliked. I could get given a randomised team with any game and be happy to plod though it with that gang.
if you're having fun you're doing it right, that's the main thing with Pokémon

I might keep Decidueye, Toucannon, and Raichu for the League, but I need three more to balance out my team, and I'd like them to be Alola Pokémon.

All the gym leaders have full teams and get buffs in TEEX. I'm pretty sure Roxanne had a Tyrunt and possibly Amaura with her, so it isn't going to be as easy as in vanilla Emerald.

I used about 40 Pokémon rotating in my Sun playthrough and Pokémon I really liked that might round off your team are Togedemaru, Alolan-Sandslash (I used it with Vanillux, it's so good under hail with slush rush), Komala, Minior, Bewear, Salazzle, Araquanid, Alolan-Muk, Alolan-Golem (Hidden Ability only), Alolan-Persian Crabominable, Comfey, Alolan-Marowack, Alolan-Exeggutor and Drampa.
I know it's a long list, but if you're replacing 3 all of those Pokémon have some coverage or niche you're missing. I really loved using Pykumuku too, but its definitely not to most people's tastes.

It's also worth noting that although Stakeout sounds good on paper for online battles it's the worst ability for Gumshoos since no one switches Pokémon in game.
Alolan-Raticate is also a lot better with Hustle too, I'd love building a team around it for online and the tree if it learnt Hone Claws.

I should probably review what I'm posting too but Grass Knot, your Hidden Power depending on the type or Volt Switch are probably better moves for Alolan-Raichu than Volt Tackle and Electro Ball.
I also like Swords Dance/Sucker Punch; Brave Bird; Steel Wing (for Fairies); Acrobatics; U-Turn/Leaf Blade/Spirit Shackle for Decidueye.
If you don't mind training a Skill Link Toucannon they're not bad with Rock Blast, Fury Attack, Bullet Seed and Blast Beak too.

I never really care about natures and shit for in game teams. I just breed moves I want on things and then go for the first one I get with an ability I want. BUT often if theres nothing I want to breed on a mon, I just use the first one I catch with the ability I like. Sometimes I even go with an ability I don't like just to try it out idk.
