Pretty much all of the Gen 4-5 sprites are god tier, with only a few minor exceptions. I really miss the sprites, I wish they would at least have stayed as Pokédex icons instead of those ugly stills we got instead.

Of all the Red and Green sprites, this and Hitmonlee were the only ones that really looked in 8-bits without being weird.

In gens 2 and 3, Sandslash's backsprite is so good. Looks like that part of an anime opening where the camera's behind a character's back, antagonists facing it and the protagonist is in a pose just before they do something.
