*changes your life forever*
heh...nothing' personaru..kid...
Maybe it's not all that bad.
This isn't Masuda...

I can't even imagine how different my life would be if Pokémon didn't exist.
>>33094335
Oh shit! A smart post from a dumb frogposter!
>leaves franchise to become shit
Come back
Pokemon would be garbage no one remembered if it weren't for Masuda.
>>33094658
you remenber Masuda because everyone post about how shit he is at making games ,/vp/ only likes to shit on someone so you aint gonna see much of actually good directors here
>>33094658
Masuda makes great music but he is fucking useless to the franchise as a game director. From gens 3 - 6 he just took what tajiri created and recycled it over and over again and stretched it over the most cliche plots imaginable. He didn't think of a goddamn good thing himself. With the new director in SM we got new ideas like ultra beasts and trials, not the the games were that good but at least it was something else.
Masuda is a hack
>>33094991
Lies and slander. Masuda is /ourgod/
>>33094991
UBs are just another subcategory of Legendary we probably won't even see again and Trials are just Gyms with Wild Pokemon instead of Trainers and without designated buildings.
>>33095050
>>33095050
Yes, but /vp/ dictates we have to hate Masuda and completely ignore everything good he did.
>>33095101
What did he do for me lately?
>>33095101
Or Ohmori.
The man who invented the Pokéwalker, the Dexnav, the sinnoh's underground...
And is hated as fuck here.
>>33094991
So is Ohmori because he's mostly following Masuda's garbage.
What they need to do is give Morimoto (Emerald, HG/SS) the permanent director chair and maybe put in Takeshi Kawachimaru (Platinum) as the producer.
Bet we'd get some awesome shit out of those two.
Especially if they just stick Masuda back on music.

Scenario, /vp/:
Satoshi Tajiri returns for one more game/generation as the head Game Director, Game Designer, Writer, and Map Designer, just like he was for RGBY. Others, like Masuda, Sugimori, Morimoto, etc., are, of course, involved, but Tajiri has total veto power over what appears in the game. All 802+ mons are available at his disposal, plus new ones, but he can still choose who appears and where and when.
What is the result?
>>33097029
It sells poorly due to a surprising upset: A mature-ish Digimon Cyber Sleuth sequel with Shota Kageyama as composer and Yusuke Ohmura proving character designs.
>>33094251
What do you think he feels about the actual state of the franchise? Is he proud of what he has created? Or is he sad/terrified seeing what his baby has become?
