No I want it to be not a Switch game, because I hate how the Switch implemented its vision. They could release a $400 dedicated handheld successor to the 3DS and I would be fine with it on that assuming they don't fuck up the hardware design there too.

Pokemon is a portable franchise. The Switch is not a portable system. That's all there is to it. You can meme about the Switch being portable, but that's just a meme. The garbage doesn't even fit in your pocket. You are literally asking for pocket monsters that don't fit in your pocket. Pokemon on console goes against the very nature of the entire franchise.
