That's notthe Alakazam/Gardevoir double battle on Route 16
How did such easy games become the best to Nuzlocke?
>>33087456
Also the fucking guy with a Kadabra a couple routes after the first gym.

REEEEEEEEEi actually never had an issue with Hau, probably because my Ribombee OHKO'd his Raichu with Pollen Puff
>the fog is thick!
>your attack missed!

>>33087425
Let's just pick every Battle Girl and Black Belt. They're deadlier than the Veterans in this game.
You're on Route 11 and this couple slaps your waifu's ass.
>>33087689
That fucker, every time. Who the fuck tries to solo with a Rattata anyway? What was that thing, level 16? In a cave full level 6-8 randoms. Shit.
>>33088107
>What was that thing
That thing is called game balance. Every game needs a part where it catches you by surprise with a strong enemy/opponent. Most games now lack this (mostly Pokémon) and are fucking easy.

How did they get a Pokémon like Wobbuffet so right but mess up Pykumukus stats so bad?
>>33088709
>
Pyukumuku is RU while Wobbuffet is PU.
>>33088713
>he doesn't know shadowtag is banned
>>33088713
http://www.smogon.com/dex/sm/pokemon/pyukumuku/
Both of them are PU by usage, except Wobbuffet would be Uber if Shadow Tag wasn't banned.
>>33088713
Yeah but because of how Wobbuffet is made he functions well against most Pokémon that want to attack to kill things.
He's only PU because he functions as well as the Pokémon he's facing.
Pykumuku's stats just don't transfer well with its ability. If it had more HP and speed with worse defences, or dealt a return of damage he took making every move a recoil move he'd be better suited to his ability design or his stats.
What I meant was that designwise Wobbuffet works in really good synergy with his movepool, stats and ability and I wanted that for Pykumuku.

>I got the most convenient encounter in route that has a scripted first encounter
>hope you have a electric type lol
>>33088537
Which is why people are naming examples from newer games where this happens?
>>33089940
Which Route is this? Cutiefly doesn't appear on Route 1 in Alola.
>the guy with the horn drill goldeen at route 214
>>33090025
Route 2 Makuhita, you'd only know to avoid it with a guide.
>>33090043
Oh yeah, that. Could still get Cutiefly at Route 3 or the Meadow though.
*blocks your Diglett Cave*
>>33090043
Or if you've played the game before
But there's nothing wrong with playing a nuzlocke that ignores scripted encounters, wouldn't want to use the same pokemon every nuzlocke

I picked up that Makuhita. It kept me alive a bunch of times and didn't leave my party right up to when I finally wiped at the E4 (even then I only wiped because I misclicked the wrong option like a total dumbass). I never loved a Hariyama so much.
>>33087674
Fuck those dogs.
*avoidable, but you when in anyway*

When did scripted encounters become a thing anyway?
