Also to consider, however:

Design is subjective(personally I prefer Mismagius), Mismagius also has better special stats and is only slightly slower. It's movepool is a lot more limited though, and doesn't learn anything by level up after evolving. Neither one is likely to gain a new evolution any time soon, but Froslass might be eligible for a Mega somewhere down the line(assuming they continue to make new Megas)

I know, I forgot to mention that I'm a ribbonfag, my entire team is composed of pokemon that came from Colosseum & XD as shadow pokemon (so they can obtain the national & earth ribbon there before trading them into R/S/E) you can't capture Mismagius or Froslass on gen III, but you can get both Misdreavus & Snorunt there & palpark them into Diamond/Pearl where they can evolve into Mismagius & Froslass and get the ribbons, thanks for your advice, I think I'll keep Froslass, Glalie already has a mega, It's only a matter of time before Froslass gets one too.

Mismagius, because Lapras is an Ice type and having another Ice type is not necessary. Mismagius has a smaller movepool though, but whatever you use is up to you.
