Is 1300+ really considered not bad?

I played Gen 6 OU on showdown and averaged around 1600 and felt like I was decent at best.

Just don't build your own team. Was sub 1300 for a long time then just copypasta'd the rain team off of smogon and I hit 1450 within 2 days. Not that great but still the highest ive ever been and still climbing.

it depends on how much the meta is played, elo is your ranking relative to others
that's why in metas like ubers or AG 1500+ means you're pretty good
in PU make this extremely obvious, where only 5 players are even 1500+
