if you get it to 100 without evolving it should turn into Golden Gyarados Prime with the Ability Gold Body which makes all its physical attacks 10 times stronger, and Infinite Shine which allows it to copy any move at will without needing Sketch

Aside from Platinum, you can also get a Lv. 100 Magikarp in BW2. The same place you get the shiny Haxorus.
