I have a Lurantis that I named Daphne. In Greek mythology, Daphne was turned into a laurel after begging Gaia to do so, so that she could avoid Apollo, who was pursuing her because he wanted to bang her. I felt that the whole laurel bit fit with the whole mimicry aspect of Lurantis, so I decided to go with it.

BW Serperior: Ivy - I was either a junior or senior in HS when I came up with this name, so I decided to come up with a plant based name for her, I was shit at naming at this period of time.(physical dual screener)
1st SM Serperior: Raja Naga - turned out male and I wasn't patient enough to go for female, "King Snake" is self explanatory, he is more or less a carbon copy of my BW serperior
2nd SM Serperior: Artemisia - I went and picked something out of the Empress arcana, and the history of Artemisia (Participated in the Battle of Salamis, evaded capture by the enemy by sinking her own ship to create an escape route). I have her running a contrarian setup with with Sub + Leaf Storm + Giga Drain + HP Electric and holding leftovers. I didn't realize how much the way I use her lined up with the history of Artemisia (tanking her own hp with substitutes to build up more offenses so that she gains more health off of giga drain to last longer)
Shiny Serperior: Narcissus - I got this one by complete accident while trying to get HP fire on my contrary serperior. The name choice honestly doesn't match the mythology of Narcissus at all, I was out of names for serperiors at that point, and so it purely came out of finally having a shiny of my all time favorite pokemon, so naming him after the basis of egotism felt the most appropriate at the time. His moveset got all fucked up after leaving him in pelago since his speed IV wasn't maxed, and I needed to cap, he was hatched five months ago checking him in pelago, just hit 100. I believe I had some weird subseeder set on him before I put him in

I gave the name Abaddon to my Guzzlord because of how much his appearance reminds me of the gaping maw depiction of Abaddon from SMT. Seems to me the Shiny is based on Praline a la Mode from Bravely Default/Second since she's a blonde blue, white, and pink wearing performer so the female name was obvious. Also, praline is a concoction that is made from other nuts including, commonly, almonds.

I'd always used the name Omega for a physical one straight from Emerald which was when I first bred one. Then when learning RNG abuse back in Gen 5 my first test for hatching to make sure I had it all down was Beldum - a randomly Modest one (was just the first one that came up less than 12 frames from the start, which I thought was fitting since I prefer special attackers anyway and it's not like I intended to use it) that I decided to call Alpha.
