I'm really starting to get baffled with the way they're handling SM. I enjoy each episode, but the lack of anything new or hype inducing is disappointing.

Ideally in a few weeks time once the movie OP promotion ends we get a new song or completely new OP visuals that don't reuse scenes from the anime.

But even I'm starting to doubt that that will happen. Once Ash defeats Olivia the OP will have become outdated with where we are progress wise in the story. Hopefully in a few weeks we get a big OP reveal that shows Aether, Type: Null, possibly evolution's, and Nihiligo.

But that's just a far off dream at this point, with SM you just don't know what it's going to do.

Early rookie Kanto Ash basically trashed through her Staryu and Starmie only 7 eps in, and Ash didn't even use Pikachu in that match.

After that the rest of Misty's battles in Kanto just consist of her losing (like the Graveler that beats her Starmie in the Giselle episode), or Psyduck constantly popping out to get a headache. I personally think that it will start with Ash and the gang going to the mountain to try to use the Wela Crown but the Marowak will steal it, everyone will try and take it back but the power boost the crown gives the Marowak causes them to fail. After this Kiawe trains against Ash so he can defeat the Marowak and after winning a battle against Ash challenges the Marowk again and wins against and possibly catches it.
