Honestly that was passable in Gen 4 if only because the theme was so good.

But yeah, I do agree. The themes should be different.

Who are you talking about in Sinnoh? Aaron, Flint, Bertha, and Lucius were all kind of vaguely designed. They didn't really have much of a theme about them; Apart from Aaron's hexagon shirt, they mostly just had color coordinated casual wear.
