You and I know this is never gonna happen, not with GF's current mindset. Just look at Ledian's new dex entry. They know it's shit and they most likely want to keep it that way, as a "joke" mon.

I love Ledian myself, but after SM, I highly doubt that thing will ever become anywhere near close to usable (outside of in-game, kinda). And Dunsparce is LOL@ tier.

just give it Leaf Katana in Gen VIII which would be a physical Leaf Storm and buff its speed, then slap on a Choice Scarf

Honestly Lurantis has promise, what needs to be done is a buff to grass and ice types. Be it better variety of builds they can use or moves in general. Give them a scald like grass move that poisons or something so get damage off and have a chance to status inflict. They also need to make a physical version of assault vest because its silly how slow they go adding new things to competitive. But of course its because they want to drag pokemon out as long as possible instead of doing things they should have done since third gen.

Liquidation as a tutor move would be cool. I don't remember them adding any gen 6 moves as tutor moves but they have added tutor moves in the past. I could list what I hope will get tutor moves but honestly anything that needs them still won't be improved very much unless they add new tutor moves.
