In my Pokémon movie experience, I saw the first seven (up through Deoxys) as a kid, and I saw the Lucario movie for the first time like 7 years ago. I saw one of the Victini movies (I can't even remember which one) whenever the subbed version came out. I don't remember it being good. All of the characters were completely uninteresting and splitting the movie into two versions was just a cashgrab. The Diamond & Pearl movies seem interesting as a trilogy and also because I like the HGSS content that appears in the latter two, but I have yet to actually see them. The movies since Gen V look kind of soulless. I'd like to watch movie 20 though.
