None at all because there's nothing to go on and I just expect more unskippable cutscenes that ruin any replay value. Honestly I only care about move tutors and possible new alola forms which still won't save most of the gen 7 shitmons and any new alola forms would probably be shit anyways.

I'm still upset at how very few mainstream games aren't complete at all. The closest was black/white, and that was a linear mess. Sun and moon similarly, but instead of being this grand adventure, it progressively gets shorter and shorter with each island, and areas are often innacessable

If that's all that's new in the games, I'm not paying for it. Moon could have been a good game, but was weighed down by cutscenes almost as bad as sonic adventure, unskipable tutorials, limited Pokémon, endless kanto pandering, and some of the easiest bosses in the series to date

I am hyped because this is our first fucking 3rd version/sequel type game in five years. Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, and B2W2 are all fantastic games. Each game has everything that veterans crave from Pokemon. Each game has the good battle facilities like The Battle Frontier or The Pokemon World Tournament. Crystal was the first game with the Battle Tower. Emerald-B2W2 also have gym leader rematches and Move Tutors. Each game has more difficulty than their respective core pairs.

Plus each 3rd version sells only half or less of the copies that their respective core pair sells. Most of the buyers are either veterans or competitive players. GF has the ability to serve only players like us in these games. They don't need to cater to casuals because they don't buy 3rd versions.

I'm hoping the are quiet because they're busy working to make it amazing

DP remakes better be on 3ds aswell, I really want those games, but fuck paying £250 for a console with only 1 game I want, and one that isn't even handheld, the reason I love my 3ds is its the good handheld console, the switch has no draw for me, and id rather just play dp remakes on an emulator on my pc if it has to be like that.

Literally zero hype. I keep forgot that these game will be released so soon. No news, no leaks, no any, even little trace of any improvement about previous games. I have the ominous feeling that this game will be just slightly remade Sun/Moon, and sold as a separate and full-price game.

They're the last pokemon games on the 3ds so I want them to go all out. The fact that we're not getting any news is making me really worried.

History shows that 3rd versions are hardly ever directed by the usual main guy (i.e. Masuda and now Ohmori) so who knows.. Active their respective Z-crystal to then change form mid-battle could be a possible gimmick for them, though I would prefer permanent forms that are changeable, akin to Kyurem's B & W forms.

Hard to find much hype right now. The games come out in a few months but we don't really know anything about them yet. Is it an improved third version like Emerald and Platinum? or is it a squeal like Black 2 and White 2? I do get excited or "hyped" when there are things announced I like coming but I expect the worst generally just so at least then I'm usually not let down.

Especially from Pokémon because they keep cutting so damn much for no good reason.

It's one thing when there was a heavy limit on game size but 3DS can go up to 8 GB for example but the 3DS games have only had 1.7 and 3.2 while having lost a LOT of stuff.

Thats the thing. People are expecting shitload of content because of stuff like BW2 and Pt but they forgot how GF changed their ways on recent years. Now their extras for basically each 3ds game are new foms an some gimicky features that dont make the game longer but look good in pomo videos (see Amie, Pokefinder, Soaring, Battle Royal, Z-moves)

Its hard to get hype when really all we got to go one was a 1 minute add-on to an 8 minute Pokken commercial.

I honestly think they just want to get the games out there and done with as soon as possible so they can start building hype for the switch games without trying to oversaturate the market. I feel like this is gonna be a very stealth release with little build-up.
