Not just frailty, but also its lack of offense.

Allakazam has 50 percent more offense with similar bulk (less HP but more DEF). The extra type advantage doesn't matter all that much due to how ineffective t ype advantages are in this game.

It's not a bad bet though I guess. Might as well use it to fill slots if you have to. But six Alakazams/Espeons will get you farther.

Honestly I think Zapdos might be the only legendary bird that's actually 'good' in gyms. Great offensive stats, solid defensive stats, and a typing that leaves it weak to only Rock and Ice. Moltres and Articuno are both stuck with double Rock weaknesses.

For gen II legendaries I guess they'll all be essentially buffed Eeveelutions.

Yesterday evening I defeated a gym and put my pokemon in first. Others added their pokemons in later so logically my pokemon should be the first to be kicked out. However the local spoofer which came in second, was kicked while my pokemon remained (a bit damaged though).
