Totally for this but be tricky to pull off. If it were me though spilt the region in half and have it based on vedic and pre vedic mythology. Maybe sumerian to help supplement things cause an Indus Valley civilization with the legendaries based on their sacred animals be pretty awesome. Same thing I would do for a Mexico region with upper half one region and lower half another with belize and similiar once mayan controlled nations mixed in.

Though with how its shaping up the next new main series region will be based on Spain Germany or China. Be dope if they did a Texas region but think they made Unova to basically have elements of all parts of the continental US especially in BW2 so sadly not for a while.

But fellow Texans you KNOW our very diverse and historically rich once nation could make for an amazing region.
