what hidden power should I SR for this guy?
Bug

is it always Timid or was I lucky to get Timid thrice in a row
>>33036537
Grass. Ice is nice too, but I prefer Grass so it can whomp all those Quagsires and Swamperts out there. Ice is better if you're expecting to fight a lot of Garchomps and Zygardes, I guess. But then your fairy attacks probably do about the same amount of damage, right? That's why I get the feeling Grass is better.

always timid.
>>33036537
Ice gives good neutral coverage with thunderbolt (almost nothing resists both of those), but fire's good to deal with common counters like ferrothorn.

locked at timid
>>33036605
don't be this guy 252 SpA Tapu Koko Grass Knot (60 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gastrodon: 176-208 (41.3 - 48.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Tapu Koko Grass Knot (100 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Swampert-Mega: 324-384 (95 - 112.6%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Tapu Koko Grass Knot (80 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Quagsire: 400-472 (101.5 - 119.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Ice, gotta get that bolt/beam coverage
>>33036537
HP fire is the only viable one
>>33036605
>But then your fairy attacks probably do the same amount of damage, right?
In theory, yes but.
>252 SpA Tapu Koko Hidden Power Ice vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Zygarde: 224-264 (62.5 - 73.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
>252 SpA Tapu Koko Dazzling Gleam vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Zygarde: 218-260 (60.8 - 72.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
hp ice 60 x 4 SE is 240
Gleam 80 x 1.5 stab x 2 SE is also 240
Why the slight variation?
>>33036537
>Hidden Power is literally Arceus type changing power hidden within the Unown and every Pokémon
>>33036537
>electric type needs a Hidden Power in its movepool
lel, why is this so common?
just inject lol
>>33036683
bait.
>>33036537
HP Ghost
>>33037640
Great Sp.Atk and shit coverage usually
>>33036537
>pick up mine hours ago
>save
>see this thread
>completely forgot about hp
Fuck, at least my regular koko is hp ice
>>33037640
Lacking movepool and because Boltbeam is great coverage second only to ghost fighting.
>>33036537
Ice
You want to bop those Lando switch ins.
>>33036688
The damage formula only uses whole numbers. If the STAB multiplier yields a non-whole number it's rounded down before the next multiplier is applied, resulting in less damage.
Ice
I went for Fire since that I caught had Ice.
I saved right after I got mine, but lucked out with Ice.
>>33036537
Either Ice or Fire. I went for Fire cause I already have a regular one with Ice.
Though honestly, with Dazzling Gleam, you do almost the same damage you would do with HP Ice against Dragons x4 weak to Ice. HP Ice can also help you against Ground-types, but with HP Fire you can deal with Ferrothorn (and Scizor if you survive a BP).
>tfw I settled with an HP electric one because it had very good ivs and was tired resetting
>tfw no face
>Going for Ice when you get Fairy STAB
Is Lando really that annoying?
>>33040368
Yes and in doubles Dazzling Gleam is weakened so HP Ice gets the bonus of hitting any ground type harder, like Garchomp
>>33037644
Retard
>>33037818
Sure boltbeam is great but this isn't boltbeam, this is thunderbolt and a dinky little 60 BP ice move that isn't gonna do shit
