XY's canon contradict's ORAS's too. Can we stop with the multiple universe bullshit? It was just a nod towards RSE, kind of like the developers being cheeky with the day/night flop universe in SM.

Reminder that in ORAS there's a Fairy Tale Girl who's friends with Valerie and says that she hasn't become a Gym Leader yet. And the fact that they're friends means Valerie is likely still Fairy Tale Girl age as of ORAS.
