I hope they start spreading gimmick love around, but make sure not to give everything the same Gimmick. For example, if it has a Mega, it shouldn't have a unique Z-Move, and if it has one of those, they should pass over that for the Gen 8 gimmick. Also, Primal Reversion for Fossil Pokemon, to remove their Rock-types, possibly gain a new side-type, and get improved stats.

III, but Firered was my first game. Then I played Gold, followed by sapphire, then Diamond and HG, and from then on I played the games in release order so oddly enough I managed to see the story unfold chronically despite getting into the games so late.

III out of nostalgia, I played Firered for hundreds of hours and did multiple runs throughout it. My first complete run I did with a team of 6 dragonites because I was autistic and wanted to go through the game using only dragon types. I raised all of them up to lvl 100. I also had friends who played Firered and emerald so I somewhat understood how it felt like in the first generation when pokemon was everywhere and everyone played them. Gen III also was the most used gen when it came to fanmade games so I just gotten used to Gen III being the archetypal generation for my pokemon experience. Despite this BW2 are still my favorite games simply for being the most complete and content-filled games in the franchise but despite this I always go back to gen III simply out of nostalgia.
