Reading comprehension, fuckface

You don't necessarily have to answer to hard mode. So you should take your own advise.

I'd say R/B, TR killed a Marowak which turned into a corrupted spirit, they only care about money and power so their goal is not crazy, credible and serious.

Also Mewtwo's backstory is still the best written one and the darkest one.

>Plot
Mystery Dungeon games.
>Atmosphere
Genius Sonority games.
Orre remakes when.

RB had the most grim atmosphere with lion tamer trainers, Lavender Town as a whole, Team Rocket literally being the mafia instead of Dark Save the Whales or PETA EX.
In terms of actual seriousness, BW takes the cake as its plot what it means to be a Pokemon trainer as well as how far is the divide between the true world and an ideal world

OP doesn't ask for a good plot. Just the most serious one

OP here, seems like my thoughts were right
Though, wasn't Platinum supposed to be serious too?I didn't finish it
I remember how a laboratory with the Lake Trio managed to creep me out
