It's okay to like Kanto Pokemon as long as you don't like them just because they're Kanto Pokemon.

Some Kanto Pokemon are genuinely well designed and interesting, but a lot of them are very overrated when the designs are bad. (see Charizard)

That said, favorite Kanto-mon is probably Flareon.
