It only takes 1 pokemon 8 hours and 10 minutes of defending to get the max amount of coins. so you can throw 3 pidgeys into gyms that come back 3 hours later and have your max coins.

Or you can throw in a blissey/snorlax that will be gone for weeks and you won't get any coins untill he finally comes back weeks later.

so in essence there is no point in powering up defenders anymore, so as long as you have several solid attackers and you filled your dex, there's nothing left to do.

say you have a raid pass from yesterday.
first, you use that pass

then you spin for a NEW raid pass, and use that one

thats 2 raid already

then you get a premium raid pass, which is one you buy.

one premium raid pass=1 raid

you can have as many premium in your inventory as you want

you can only have ONE regular pass in your inventory
you get ONE each day from spinning at a gym

you can be in two raids by saving a pass from a day before

As you may have noticed, we've recently made some changes to the species of Pokémon that can hatch from Eggs. However, we have noted that some Trainers are hatching Pokémon from 10km Eggs that they do not feel are an appropriate reward for walking such a distance; in particular, many Trainers with access to a body of water have already caught several Chinchou.

Chinchou has therefore been removed from all new 10km Eggs and will now hatch from 5km Eggs instead. Any existing 10km Eggs may still hatch into a Chinchou, but 10km Eggs obtained after 12:00 P.M. PDT today will not hatch into a Chinchou.

As a replacement, new 10km Eggs may now hatch a new feathered friend - Murkrow! This rare Dark-type Pokémon is often very difficult to capture in the wild, so we are sure you'll all appreciate the opportunity to easily obtain this Darkness Pokémon.
