SM35 - A Curry-zy Beautiful Battle! The Dance of Rarantes!! (July 27th)
>As part of an extracurricular lesson, Satoshi and his friends are made to gather the ingredients for "Alola Curry", a traditional Akalan dish. They encounter all kinds of difficulties, but still somehow manage to gather the ingredients. And then a Rarantes shows up and challenges Satoshi to a battle.

SM36 - Lychee's Grand Trial! The Hardest Pokémon Match Ever!! (August 3rd)
>Satoshi has finally become able to challenge the Grand Trial of Lychee, Island Queen of Akala Island. The Grand Trial against Lychee is a double battle. Satoshi decides to take her on with Mokuroh and Iwanko. Lychee uses Rock type Pokémon, and just toys around with him using tricky tactics and Lugarugan's overwhelming speed and power.

I wonder if the writers are aware how much salt/backlash the fandom has had over recent pokemon anime stuff, even the Japanese fandom:

- Ash's loss in the Kalos league
- Ash's new face in SM and SM's light hearted style and meme faces
