At least Kyurem's forms looked coherent in a grotesque way. These are literally just the SM legendaries with parts copy pasted on.

I think the problem is they simply contain too much Solgaleo Lunala, like they are exactly the same with armor/or a reflection. All other Legendary Formes change at least a bit or more drastically, like with Giratina, Rayquaza or Kyurem.

True, the soft features of Solgaleo Lunala don't go very well with the edgy ones of Necrozma, also they are a bit overdesigned in general

Depends. They look bad, yeah, but I guess I can see them working if they're light projections of Necrozma; it'd be kinda cool if its entire body separated just to be able to assume these forms, and it would make it look more weird and alien.

If they're just armor like what most people think then fuck no, that's the tackiest and most inefficiently-designed armor they could have done.
