All type effectiveness is reversed. Normal is super effective on Ghost,Rock and Steel for example.
HOW DOES THE META CHANGE?
Steel type Pokémon is now trash.
Ice is the new Steel
>inverse
Hello? If they don't make a special facility in USM now with this, I'll actually be mad. This was one of the more fun things to come out of XY.
inverse battles are thing
avalugg is amazing
>>32996535
this is pretty dope. Makes me want to play again
>>32996581
>>32996584
>>32996592
Sorry, never played XY so I thought it was a new thing :ll
>>32996535
normal is pretty gud defensively and offensively both since it's unresisted and has no weaknesses
>>32996581
I want a field move that can triggers this. it would give certain typing's play ability the same way trick room can help some pokemon
>>32997736
>has no weaknesses
What about Ghost?
I'm excited, I thought inverse was gone from the code completely like rotation and triples
For reference this is what the ORAS version looked like. If you're ever wanted to use Avalugg, Miltank or Gogoat, now's your chance
>>32997766
Because Normal is also SE against ghost.
>>32997766
whoops, right. unresisted offensively and has one weakness defensively
>>32997769
>garchomp is STILL great in bizarro world
it hurts
>>32997769
I genuinely want them to experiment more on this, it's such a good idea.Maybe as a special room in Battle Spot. To much?
>>32996535
Defensive ice types work now, so expect Avalugg and similar 'mons to show up.
>>32996581
US/UM really need to bring back Inverse, Triples, and Rotation to be decently good.
And this is precisely what I was talking about when someone was complaining about people not liking new features being the players fault as if new features make up for old ones like these that players did like and were removed.
>>32997769
What does Gogoat do that makes it useful in Inverse?
>>32997839
Grass is good + Sap Sipper. Sap Sipper users in general are really good since it completely stops Serperior and Breloom.
Inverse battles return now?
Why did they even remove them in the first place
>>32997871
They weren't really removed, I guess they just didn't find a good place to put them in single player
>>32998064
>werent in Sun Moon
>"they weren't really removed"
Yes, they were just like triples and rotations
>>32997772
>>32997775
Oh shit
>mfw Mega Kanga in this meta
>>32998079
Triples and rotations aren't even in the code so they'll never be possible for online like inverse is
>>32998109
Have people decompiled the whole game to prove this? Seems stupid of them to completely remove working code for the best features in the game when they reused tons of stuff from XY. Then again, it's Game Freak.
>>32998228
I'm pretty sure it's been proven yes, besides, they'd have no reason to remove triples and rotations from Battle Spot if they were still in the code. The only obvious explanation is that the the framerate was unfixable with the addition of trainer models in battle.
>>32997745
>field move to trigger inverted types
Jesus Christ how horrifying. I played exactly one inverted battle and never did again because all I did was eat shit. Maybe with SM showing you what moves are effective it would be a little better, but changing everyone's type at will? Gracious.
>>32997745
This would play hell with a lot of strategies and plans.
I'm all for it.
>>32997745
....that would actually make battling pretty damn fun then. It's a pretty mindless game, but having everything inversed for 5 turns means you'd have to actually pay attention and think.
