Those static model images are taken from the Pokemon Status Menu screen, which uses the basic default day lighting, which also means that they're directly the same color as the textures are. And in the 3ds Pokemon games there isn't too much of a difference in lighting in battle anyways, there's only the default day lighting, the night lighting, and sunrise/sunset lighting.
