Great starter (can't go wrong with any Gen 4 starter, though), Rotom is pretty neat, Vaporeon is the second best Eeveelution, and Giratina is second best Uber.

Not a big fan of Gallade or Lucario, though.

Giratina's not that bad with me, I used one back then. But you have both Gallade and Lucario, you only need one. Also Rotom isn't that good. My team back then was:

Empoleon
Gallade
Houndoom
Staraptor
Roserade
Garchomp, who I replaced with Giratina (yeah, I know)

It's overdesigned in my opinion and it constantly shows up in competitive play. It has been OU for 4 generations straight and It won't stop getting buffed. That's bullshit.
