Should I restart XY or should I restart my Diamond file? I've completed both only once before and was expecting DPP remakes but since we aren't getting them, I considered restarting my DS file. XY is more up to date though, what should I do?

Platinum improved upon the slowness of Diamond. Platinum also has an improved pokedex, for the most part. Although, you can glitch your way to some event exclusive areas in DP that you can't in Plat. It's really up to you, but I would recommend playing platinum over Diamond

If you are going to restart a game, better restart XY, since DS Wiki was shuted down 3 years that means you can't get version exclusives or trade evolutions on DS unless you know people that also own DS games, becayse there are still people playing Gen VI you are more likely to find version exclusives and trade evolutions in GTS.
