I was actually hoping for a starter trio of grass hummingbird Huitzilopochtli, fire rattlesnake Quetzalcoatl, and water jaguar Tezcatlipoca, but grass fit Quetzy more and we already had a grass snake. We can always fit those three in elsewhere. The box legends rarely have anything to do with a region's inspiration, anyway (Nordic figures in France, alchemy symbols in Hawaii, and yin yang dragons in New York). I wouldn't be surprised if the box legends were two Australian deities or something else way out of place.

I actually think, if you wanted to work stuff in as starters, then it should be

The issue then becomes that, Tezcatlipoca isn't really associated with water in any way, and Tlacoc doesn't really have a specific representative animal.
