Will they fix the moonball glitch in the VC versions?

Do Gen 1 and 2 games even remember what kind of ball your Pokémon was captured in? Will a transferred one caught in an apricorn ball even show up with it in SM?

Nope. All imports will be in a Pokeball. That caused me to restart Fire Red after importing from Yellow as Mewtwo needs to be in a master ball.
