Regional Form Thread

Not exactly regional, but i'd like to see some pokes with some sort of variation

One example i came up with, was a flygon with underdeveloped wings. As a result, it doesn't learn any flying-moves, but it retained Sheer Force from when it was a Trapinch

If it didn't have a Mega I'd say regional Altaria.

Either Flying/Electric or Dragon/Electric with a storm cloud motif. Maybe make it a bit more Quetzalcoatl inspired to fit a Mexico-ish region.

in this case, it isn't all that bad. Bergmite seems to be a hermit-crab style creature that's wearing the cone as a shell, while Avalugg is wearing some road as armour. which actually explains the flat top a lot better than the standard form.

many of these combinations dont work....
the point of having a starter type triangle is that each starter basically "deals" x2 dmg to one starter and x0.5 to the other.

every combination involving ice is pretty much stupid as ice only resists itself, having fyling/ground/whatever an unfair advantage within the triangle.

also, having dark and psychic in a triangle ist just plain retarded balance wise

I had this idea when Regional Forms were first introduced and before Marshadow's typing was known. I'm not the biggest fan of Dusknoir's design so this was basically a remedy for that.

Alolan Dusknoir
Ghost/Fighting
Iron Fist or Intimidate

>In Alola, Duskull dwell in places that ancient warriors once called home. These pokemon communicate with the spirits of the brave fighters who have long since passed on. As they grow and evolve into Dusknoir their skills are greatly increased. Alolan Dusknoir, like the warriors before them, wont find peace until a worthy challenger reveals itself.

Looks like a buff version of dusknoir. The "face" on its belly are tribal tattoo like marking. The split in the torso is still there but no longer functions like a mouth. Its arms and hands are covered in mummy wrappings like how a fighter might wrap his or her hands. This also brings the design a bit closer to Dusclops. The "headdress" that regular Dusknoir wore is more in line with a hawaiin warrior helm while retaining the cylops eye it has going on. Pic semi related.

Art talent is limited but I do like to imagine a regional variant of hitmonchan that's grass with a tiki mask and coconuts for gloves
