pokemon that aren't worth the time/resources

I use it every time I run Johto because it's radical and in-game is so easy in the entire series it really doesn't matter what's worth/not worth time

I used one of these in my first run of B2, it was actually really fun and somehow pulled weight. It had Giga Drain/Sludge Bomb/Grasswhistle/Cut so it wasn't that great, but it helped in several fights. As soon as I saw a Sunkern on the first route, I said "I've got to use it." Samurott/Sunflora/Magmortar/Muk/Flygon/Crustle. Still one of my favorite teams I've ever used. I remember not wanting Flygon initially, but I don't regret catching the Vibrava.

that's very true, but beedrill is also stopped cold by a ton of common pokemon (lando and skarm are just two, but you've already listed them), whereas ledian's coverage hits every major defensive threat bar mega sableye for super effective damage, unless I'm forgetting some stuff. Beedrill can sort of hit these defensive threats as they switch in, but the attacks bounce off and it's forced out. Being able to 2HKO and, if it was min maxed like beedrill, outspeed and finish off defensive pokemon is really good.

Wrong m8, it learns some great moves and can hit pretty hard. Used one when I played Crystal in French to improve my grasp on that language.

The Seedot line in Ruby and Emerald. Its level-up moves are terrible and its low SpA means that even if you teach it Bullet Seed it'll still keep lagging behind. Lotad is so much better.
