I really hope Gamestop keeps up with its merch pushing. I love being able to go in and browse game-related goods like that when I buy some games. Also, when stuff goes on clearance, it's the best. I got some .97$ headphones (about 4 or 5 of them) and two shirts for less than 5 bucks, and I spent like only 80 bucks overall between Horizon: Zero Dawn and whatever else I got. Also Horizon is really good so far.

I had more fun in the Digimonstories Cyber sleth game than I had in the past three Pokemon generations.

It made me really think about how they could have been improving and building on the mechanics of Pokemon instead of implimenting shitty gimmicks and doing all this weird shit lately.

Yeah, the story was bad. About as bad as Sun and Moon. But the point I guess I'm trying to make is that while that game did have a bad story, it relied more heavily on it's combat for the bulk of the game, and all of the side quests were actually geared toward utilizing the Monsters you were raising, like fighting in tournaments and hunting evil monsters.

And though the story was shit, it stuck to the same thing Digimon always did. You weren't thrown for some crazy loop this time around.

I'd like a Pokemon game where you just train Monsters, collect badges, and enter tournaments.

Why not both? I bought Moon on release day and enjoyed it a lot, bought Cyber Sleuth in December and loved it and now I'm looking forward to both USUM and Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory. Both series have fun games. It's a shame Digimon isn't more popular in the west. People say pokemon has better games, which is true for the most part, but at least Digimon has differences in their games even if that difference is mostly in how you train and raise your digimon.
