Those are the three ways to fix most Pokemon, I think.

Sometimes I wish all Pokemon had the same base stat sum. It would be cool if everything we're viable, but I understand why you can't do that.

Not even Wonder Guard could save Parasect.

Ability is Duel Wielding. Can hold two items. Think of the possibilities! Even on a shitmon, you could probably cook up some good combinations.

Other ability could be Spore Bond. It prevents it from being KOed in doubles/triples unless its partner is defeated first. It lets its partner act as a lightning rod that way, letting you spam spore while your opponent scrambles to defeat whatever pokemon it bonded with. Only exception is that it can't bond with something else with Spore Bond.

All it needs is better stats, it already has a good support movepool.
It would see more use in VGC if the stats backed it up since it already has a reason be used over Amoongus movepool-wise.

The problem is not the weakness, but the subpare shitmon stats.
