Thread for discussing anything related to Pokemon Tabletop United: A homebrew pen and paper RPG system designed for campaigns and games with a Pokemon capturing/battling focus.
>How is it different from mainline Pokemon?
As with all tabletop RPGs, you gain more freedom in character choices and things to do. Your trainer can even take part in combat and has their own stat sheet, you're not even limited to the typical "child goes on a Pokemon league adventure" kind of game. There are supplements for high fantasy and scifi styled games. People have even done wild west and post apocalyptic settings with this system.
If anyone wants to try and get a game started on roll20 or tabletop simulator, feel free to post here.
Bump, semi interested.

Anybody have any cool settings?

I had an idea for a game, but I am an awful GM and don't know the rules well enough.
I was initially thinking about the three Pokémon Go character, Blanche, Sparky and Candela, and how they each have a specialization Evolution, Breeding and Battling. So I thought what if there was a School were they taught and you could take different courses.
Basically just a Pokémon school but like cool. I dunno dude.

bump, seems pretty cool.

Ugly type symbols.
Thin lines plague Bug, Ice, and Poison. Too much detail on Flying.
