As for shillmons, i would say that the closest thing to a shillmon right now would be Lycanroc midnight, it's gladion's ace in the anime, it appeared along tapu koko in the TCG, it was distributed as a gift for no reason for SM, and it's gonna be in the movie

The only other "plot worthy" mons for SM i can think of are new form for Guzzlord, Eternal Floette (still in the code of the game with updated animation of its signature attack) or some sort of Zygarde-Necrozma fusion
