Went around town with a few friends knocking rivals with 8+ hour Pokémon out of gyms sorbet could get coins.

Yet no one has touched the gym we put shitmons into nearly a week ago.

Raids are fun but I have 4 Pokémon who have spent over 5 days in gyms. With my luck they'll all get knocked out at once so I get nucked outta coins.

Just thought about this, what time exactly counts for the coin a pokemon brings you. Like, if I have two mons in gyms, one comes back before midnight with 50 coins while I'm playing. Then I close the app and during that time, the other one returns (still before midnight) but now I only open the game past midnight. Will it have coins or not?

the time that they return is logged in your journal (although it annoys me that the amount of coins they gained is not indicated in the journal, but that's neither here nor there). So, the game knows whether to log it as "yesterday" or "today", for purposes of your 50 coin limit. it doesn't matter when you check your phone.

That was pretty much my Gengar Raid, except 5 ish people showed and I took it on solo, almost killed mine, it bugged out A LOT. I got it down to red almost killed it, then it bugged twice, showed me twice that I won even after a reset, the first time the piece of shit froze on me so I missed out hard on catching my Gengar, I tried re-battling it so many times but constantly error kicked me out as soon the battles started, error'd the fuck out of it to me till it was gone. I missed a Venusaur way because it chose to freeze and I was on the very last few minutes in fact I got so discouraged I left because when I battled it I wasn't even making a dent in the fucker. I am genuinely pissed.

Of course people don't think it's 40. It's the idea that actually seeing the number 50 on the price tag will sway the buyer from buying it more than seeing a lower number and rounding up to 50 in their heads. Like actually reading the number 50 has more of an effect than imagining it in their heads. I'm willing to bet there's psychological tests that have data to show this is true.

I managed to fix it by disabling a setting in Poweramp, something to do with audio focus in android.
You'd think that Go would just stop affecting audio focus when you turn the sound off. Hell, it really shouldn't in the first place like every single other app where the focus isn't listening to music or videos.

i guess its different for different places, my community is pretty cool and the walk/spoofers tend to be open about doing it in a limited fashion and dont seem to have excelled that much from doing it. i used the maps that showed you where the pokemon are in your area back in like september/october a lot so i guess i just dont feel right calling someone a cheater especially when it seems like they just did it cause it was too cold to walk around town.

no it stays until someone battles it out of the gym, beware gyms in reclusive places they are death traps, throw a shit mon in them if you want the gym but save your good stuff for raid battling. With the new gym system you want to hold a gym for so many hours and then have your pokemon get kicked out, so i usually play late at night and put something in 1-3 gyms that are an easy target so the gym gets taken by the next afternoon and i collect my 50 for the day.

if you want to level up a gym to a gold badge you need to be in the gym for like 20 days (not necessarliy consecutively just total time youve had stuffi n the gym) though so theres that advantage to something getting "stuck" in ag ym, tho gold badge gyms seem to only be useful if you frequent the gym as a stop, i guess you get more items and possibly rarer items? unsure.

i have a lapras i regret putting in a gym no one knows about at the start of the update and has been in there over 8 days... im sure ill get a gold badge quickly for it but its a gym in the middle of no where so i wont get to take advantage of that very often.

That is a typical day. Seeing anything above 82% is a good day, catching a non-egg/raid mon that's over 90% is a rare super duper good day.

The grind for powered up Pokemon is going to be in the hundreds of thousands of dust. Don't worry about high IVs so much, just grind as much as you can while you still have the attention span for it.

That sucks anon. The two gyms closest to me are either way down the road, and people on the other team live right on top of it.
We have the opposite problem though, cause during the day fuckers won't let a 'mon sit in it for more than 5 minutes, which is the most rude shit ever since you don't get a coin.

Also since gyms have stops now why isn't literally every stop a gym? There's no reason for it not to be other than they knew they didn't have the playerbase anymore to knock pokemon out.
