I'd be pretty cool with it. The thing I like about Pop figures is that it's got a wide range of franchises that'll never crossover in a consistent art style. Having Pokémon included in the mix would be nice.

I'd only really get two or three of them though.

I don't collect figures as a whole but I can at least understand the appeal of collecting them. Funko Pop figures look like utter garbage though and I don't know why anyone would want to own one. It makes more sense to buy one good figure that would look good on a shelf than several shitty-looking figures like this.

I think Funko does their best work with non-human creatures and the beady soulless eyes actually look charming on some cuter properties like Sanrio and Disney. So Pokemon would probably be a good licence for them to cash in on, god knows they would produce thousands of the little bastards and they would sell like hotcakes.

I've been shitting on Funk Pops, but I own these two because I like the movie a lot and they turned out well. Would never dream of buying any others though, and technically these were a gift (that I asked for). The more you have the worse they all start to look because you realize how similar the molds are when placed together.

Pop figures fill the niche of collectables that don't cost like 50$, are all thematically similar, and look good (in my opinion). You can say you don't like them, but you can't say they're bad.
