For years I thought Hippopotas evolved at level 40 like Snover. It made sense in my head - Gen 4 Pokemon of 2 stage families that summon weather that damages Pokemon of different types. What I didn't realise was Hippopotas only evolves at level 34, as I discovered when researching it after picking one up in an X Nuzlocke last year.
