If the core Pokémon game is a massive success, then the possibility of a new "Shadow Pokemon" game would exist. GF didn't develop Colosseum or GoD; Genius Sonority did, and they're still developing Pokémon spin-offs to this day. Whether it's a remaster or a continuation doesn't matter to me. The original 2 games were amazing, and I'm not the only one that wants more.
