>rodent
A-Ratatta or maybe a Chilean Ratatta (water/poison type, because Mapocho river)

>Bird
Pidove or maybe a C-pidove too (Poison/Flying), highly used (and eaten) by brown immigrants aka peruvians

>Caterpillar
We dont have many caterpillar-bugs, but we have FUCK LOT of spiders, I'm thinking on one simple spider who evolves by making a spiderweb coccon and then evolving in a tarantula, and since warlocks in our culture use them to curse people (by charging them with magic and making them crawl into someone innards) they could be Dark/Bug type

I need someone to come up with names though, I'm horrible

>>32891704
>house cat
Normal-type shaggy stray cat becomes Normal/Poison domesticated cat that uses poison spit to slick its hair back and coat long claws in poison. Smug. Gets Toxic early, slowly wears down an opponent, prefers a long chase.

Counterpart is a Normal-type house mouse that becomes a Normal/Fairy mischief mouse that plays tricks and then flees. Has an ability that is basically Run Away, but also gives switchout moves +1 priority.

Based on "game of cat and mouse" and Tom and Jerry

>indian runner duck
three-stage with a "home run" theme: starts with little white duck with red markings that resembles stitches, ends as a Ground/Flying runner duck with great Speed (or Speed Boost)

>goddamn fucking mosquitto piece of shit
three stage based on "blood bank": bronze-colored larva that hooks onto organic material and steals blood, silver-colored pupa that weaves a safe-like box around itself, golden mosquito with long spiky nose. Bug/Dark. Has a move that replaces enemy abilities with status conditions for a few rounds.

>Italy
- Rattata
- Pidove / Fletchinder / Pidgey / Hoothoot
- Combee / Weedle
- Caterpie / Nincada / Kricketot

>New Concepts
- Coypu (River Rat) (imported species) or some cheese meme mouse, a cat is fine too, coypus are a plague but kinda cute and chubby, I'd honestly fuck one if it flirted with me while I was drunk
- Magpie (maybe music themed with the classic reference, may have a bird of paradise reference, the one with the harp looking feathers), else a peacock or exotic looking breed of rooster / hen, they are very versatile
- Mandatory randomized moth or butterfly, a carpenteer wasp or whatever is fine too if it can be part Ground or Rock and differenciate itself from Vespiquen
- Locust, nigger bug from Africa
- San Bernardo or Pug breeds, one a 2 stage Arcanine Water or Water/Ice counterpart and one is a single stage mememon
- Tuna as regional fish, what the fuck is wrong with Japan still not introducing a mako species, a swordfish / veilfish as counterpart would be cool too, even a salmon, salmons are cute and have hard life, please no bully
- Pasta jellyfish made of spaghetti and shit :^)
- Mariomon

Ratata, Murkrow/Mandibuzz ekans and skorupi; too dry for bugos
>>
Pennsylvania's pretty boring but let's see...

Rattata would be a squirrel for sure.
Bugs really aren't that interesting here. Probably a generic caterpillar to yellow moth evolution line and a lightning bug line.
As for birds it could be a cardinal, mourning dove, woodpecker, or hummingbird. IF you wanted to get a little more interesting it could be Canadian goose or a turkey.

Now that I'm thinking about it, it would definitely be a turkey

Marylander here.

>Gray Squirrel

Fuckers are EVERYWHERE.

>Oriole

It's our fucking state bird. Final evolution is a cross between an oriole, a bald eagle, and an owl.

>Worker ants

They get everywhere you don't want them to be. Initial stage is a worker. Males only have one evolution step up (a knight themed drone); females get two (chrysalis and then a queen).

>Cicadas

Every 17 years these fuckers show up. Initial stage is an ass ugly larva, next is a pupa, final stage is a goddamn nightmare with wings, legs, eyes, and antennae.

I would love to say something interesting but honestly a grey squirrel's the best I've got. They're absolutely everywhere here and there really aren't that many other interesting small mammals that are nearly as common. Maybe pull a Poochyena and also have a line of something else like raccoons or skunks.
>Pidgey
I see finches and sparrows basically everywhere but for something more interesting maybe a cardinal or blue jay.
>Caterpie and Weedle
We don't really have a huge amount here in terms of cool bugs but I guess for one line I'd suggest a pillbug with the evolution resembling a Quonset hut since the name comes from a location in the state. For the other maybe a mosquito.
