It bothers me how this insignificant thing doomed so many flying pokemon to their shitty floating in place models.

I like most floating models, they make more sense with earthquake in doubles.

maybe it was the other way around, they made stupid models and bad floating animations and instead of changing them they made sky battles to justify them, and since they know it was shit they dropped it right away

His problem isn't that they -are- above ground, it's that they barely move at all, and when they do, they have nearly the exact same animation as eachother

I still don't know what these things even are, and I did every one in the game. Wasn't it basically just "a battle but you can only use certain Pokémon"? What was the point?

I beat the game without ever participating in one of those stupid Sky Battles.
Probably one of the most pointless/useless things that Gamefreak decided to include in XY.
