That was always going to happen. Different media will depict the line with normal expressiveness, because they don't know/care it's supposed to be stoic.
Stoic characters never stay stoic when they cross media, because the temptation to make them normal is too strong for normies, who can't understand the intrigue of expressionlessness.
I don't think it ever smiles in Amie or anything though.
