Just bought a go + and have a few questions.

Is it normal to have a delay for detecting pokestops? Around 4-7 seconds.

I tried it out biking and it mostly worked fine but the delay was kinda annoying. Is there tips to increase accuracy? My phone is the s8.

Honestly the way the gyms are now, you'd think attacking would yield the most rewards. It's the part where you actually have to play the game. With defending you just stick your mon in and pray everyone else is too lazy to knock it out. Feeding berries really doesn't do much because it decays like crazy after the first one.

Did my first **** raid today, fought a Tyranitord with eight more guys, I think half the pogo population of the city was there. Only 4 of us cought it, shit IVs and moves amd 0 TMs but was a great time, thanks Hanke.

The lag issues are awful. The most annoying one is easily when you try to switch Pokemon but the game decides to switch back and forth between the two Pokemon for whatever reason.

Wastes like 10 seconds and opens you up to getting a charge attack straight to the face.

I just got a weird glitch where it let me fight raids more than once

I was in a Charizard raid, just before beating it, and my game crashed. When I rebooted the app and entered the gym, I was in the lobby and it showed me what items I won. Then I could hear the sound from the Charizard encounter, but it still showed he lobby.

Then I rebooted he app once more, and when I pressed "Battle", it placed me in a new lobby. I could fight the Charizard again, but I was unable to beat it alone. I still kept the items I won in the first battle.

most of the time you need to prestige up 2000-4000 which is at most 4 fights

prestiging was a great part of the game and only really bad players who didn't understand types couldn't do it

now all the fighting is just get the strongest pokes and power through since it's easier and faster

since prestiging was also the only part of the game that took any amount of skill it also meant that in order to get in a gym you had to be at least not braindead, which is no longer true

how much less annoying does Blissey get with a decent Machamp? Every fucking Machamp I've gotten has shit like Bullet Punch.

I promise they were mostly Blissey, else they were Snorlax or TTar. But Counter/Dynamic Punch is the fastest moveset to kill on the strongest fighting type, so I'd say stock up on 3* raid boss Machamp, all of mine came with counter/DP so it's safe to bet you'll get it too.

I did that like 10 times for the 3 account guy before the gym update during the winter and about the same amount of times after the gym update, and he is still up in my area. I even sent Niantic screenshots of him posted up in the new gym layout, its kinda of a bummer, all it takes is 1 autistic guy getting hired and combing through all the reports and verifying them with other users reporting the same person, but I guess Niantic's millions are going to Hanke's coke habit instead. They do realize spoofers don't spend a dime on the game and poor as fuck, causing other people to play less who would be happy to pay if the game was fair, right?

Things I've been considering:
Pokémon under 3000 CP but above 2500 have an optimal stats : decay rate ratio and seem to be better for defending, but I can't confirm decay rate theory, only can tell my 2600-2800 don't decay nearly as fast as 3000/3300+

You can abuse a glitch in raid bonus catching where you can collect raid rewards multiple times by fleeing the bonus catch and participating in the raid over and over again. Works well with Machamp arcanine gengar or vaporeon was these are the easiest 3* bosses to solo.
Machamp and Dragonite have useful legacy/new combos (karate chop/dynamic punch & dragonbreath/outrage) that are obtainable with TM's.

Slowking is really fucking big.

I can't help but wonder why the gyms are still the only place you can battle? Why can't they have it where you encounter a wild Pokemon, you battle it, and then after defeating it, you go to the pokeball catch screen? It would make this game more fun in my opinion.
